Liability Waiver & Release of Liability
Selva Soul Retreats Effective Date: February 17, 2026 By participating in a Selva Soul Retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Liability Waiver and Release of Liability.
1. Voluntary Participation Participation in a Selva Soul Retreat is voluntary. Activities may include but are not limited to: yoga classes meditation and breathwork wellness workshops hiking and nature excursions swimming and waterfall visits transportation to retreat activities other physical or recreational activities Participation in these activities involves inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated. By attending a Selva Soul Retreat, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
2. Assumption of Risk You understand and acknowledge that travel and retreat activities may involve risks including but not limited to: physical injury illness allergic reactions accidents during excursions or transportation environmental hazards wildlife encounters weather conditions unfamiliar terrain By participating in retreat activities, you knowingly and freely assume these risks.
3. Medical Responsibility Participants are responsible for their own physical and mental health. By attending a Selva Soul Retreat, you acknowledge that: you are physically and mentally capable of participating in retreat activities you have consulted a medical professional if necessary prior to participation you will disclose any relevant health conditions that may affect your participation you will bring any required medications or medical supplies Selva Soul Retreats does not provide medical services or supervision. All medical expenses incurred during or after the retreat are the sole responsibility of the participant.
4. Release of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Selva Soul Retreats and its owners, founders, facilitators, contractors, staff, partners, retreat venues, and affiliates from any liability for: personal injury illness death property damage financial loss travel disruptions accidents occurring during retreat activities This release applies to incidents that occur before, during, or after the retreat.
5. Responsibility for Personal Belongings Participants are responsible for safeguarding their own personal belongings. Selva Soul Retreats is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the retreat.
6. Third-Party Providers Retreat activities may involve services provided by third-party vendors such as: transportation companies tour guides activity operators retreat centers restaurants and food providers Selva Soul Retreats is not responsible for the actions, services, or safety practices of these third-party providers.
7. Photography & Media Release During retreats, Selva Soul Retreats may capture photographs or videos for promotional and marketing purposes. By participating in the retreat, you grant Selva Soul Retreats permission to use photographs or video that may include your likeness for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes. Participants who prefer not to be photographed must notify Selva Soul Retreats in writing prior to the retreat.
8. Agreement By submitting payment for a Selva Soul Retreat and participating in retreat activities, you acknowledge that: you have read this Liability Waiver you understand the risks associated with retreat participation you voluntarily accept these risks you release Selva Soul Retreats from liability as outlined above This agreement is binding upon the participant and their heirs, representatives, and assigns.
