Remembering What Makes You Feel Alive ✨
Igniting passion back into your life after a long period of burnout and stress can feel overwhelming in itself. After prolonged stress, we can sometimes become attached to the identity of simply surviving, and it can be difficult to remember who we are beyond that experience.
One powerful way to begin reconnecting with yourself is to intentionally schedule time to create, explore, and play.
Ask yourself: What did you love doing when you were younger that made you lose track of time?
Those moments often hold clues to what brings us back to life.
For me, I always loved playing sports, gymnastics, and using my body in ways that felt strong and expressive. Movement has always been a source of joy and connection for me. Today, taking walks, being present in nature, and exercising with my dogs have become daily practices that help me return to myself.
Small moments of play and presence can help shift us out of the stuck places we find ourselves in after stressful seasons. They remind us that we are more than what we have been carrying.
So ask yourself:
What brings out your curiosity? What makes you feel energized? What helps you forget about time?
Reconnect with those pieces of yourself. That is often where passion begins to awaken again.
