Have you ever reached a point in your healing journey where you simply feel… done?
Not because you’ve given up, but because you’ve spent years doing the inner work. You’ve processed the pain, sat with the discomfort, read the books, practiced yoga, meditated, journaled, and slowly unraveled the layers of who you once were.
Healing can be a long and beautiful journey. But at some point, I began to ask myself,
When do we stop healing and start living?
I realized that somewhere along the way, being “the person who is healing” had become part of my identity. Just as we can become attached to our old stories, we can also become attached to the process of constantly trying to fix ourselves.
There comes a moment when you’ve created the space. You’ve cleared the energy. You’ve learned the lessons.
Now what?
For me, that was the space between healing and my next chapter. I wasn’t the person I used to be, but I hadn’t yet stepped into the life I was meant to create. It felt unfamiliar, uncertain, and yet full of possibility.
That’s when I realized I wasn’t craving another healing practice.
I was craving life.
I wanted to reconnect with adventurous spirits. I wanted meaningful conversations around a dinner table after a day of exploring. I wanted to laugh until my stomach hurt, swim in beautiful waters, hike volcanoes, move my body, share stories, and remember what it felt like to simply be present.
I wanted to create experiences that reminded us we are here to live, not just to heal.
That realization became Selva Soul.
Selva Soul isn’t about escaping your life or endlessly working on yourself. It’s about stepping into what comes next. It’s about connection, adventure, nature, giving back, and surrounding yourself with kindhearted people who are also choosing to live with intention.
Healing will always be part of the journey.
But so will joy.
So will wonder.
So will play.
So will community.
If you’ve been feeling that quiet pull, that sense that you’ve done the work and you’re ready for something more, you may not need another thing to fix you.
You may simply need an experience that reminds you how alive you already are.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to welcome you into the Selva Soul Circle.
A community rooted in connection, adventure, giving back, and experiencing the world with open hearts.
Because sometimes the next step in healing is simply giving yourself permission to live.
